CEO and owner
Herbert L. Kloiber launched NTM in February 2020.
Prior to forming NTM, Herbert Kloiber served as the Managing Director of Germany’s Tele München Group (TMG) and its seven subsidiaries including Concorde Film, Concorde Home Entertainment, TELE5, TMI, ODD and Clasart.
During his 2012-19 tenure overseeing all operations, strategy, acquisitions, sales, co-productions and co-financing for the leading European media company, Herbert Kloiber was credited with spearheading TMG’s expansion into the direct-to-consumer market with the launch of the SVOD service Filmtastic; entering into strategic output deals with Netflix and Amazon; optimizing the value of its content with more efficient windowing across its distribution platforms; and expanding revenue streams internationally through distribution, co-production and direct investments in IP-based production companies such as Storied Media Group.
Head of Development and Co-Production
Olivia Pahl joined NTM in September 2020 from StudioCanal TV and Tandem Productions, where she rose to Head of Development after joining the company in 2015.
In the role, the creative executive worked closely with writers in a supportive role while leading partner management and creative development across development, production and post-production pipelines.
Additionally, she managed third-party submissions; served as Co-Executive Producer of Shadowplay, an eight-part thriller series produced by Tandem Productions and Bron Studios, and co-financed by ZDF, Viaplay, CANAL+, NC+ and NPO; and as a development executive on The Man Who Fell to Earth, Moscow Noir, Sanctuary and The Lawyer.
Head of Legal & Business Affairs
Prior to joining NTM in December 2021, Malte Ludin practiced in-house as senior legal counsel for many years with some of Germany‘s leading independent film and television companies, acquiring extensive knowledge of all legal and practical aspects of international and domestic media financing, production and distribution.
Malte holds degrees in both German and French law. He is admitted to practice as Rechtsanwalt.
Head of Finance
Julia Peryshkina joined NTM in March 2021.
Following seven years in the media sector in Germany at Sky, ProSiebenSat.1 and Leonine Studios (former Tele München Group), Julia joined the Night Train team as Head of Finance.
Developing from Specialist Licenses to Senior License Manager, she was responsible for license accounting of different contractual constructions in accordance with internal polices and accounting financial standards, the optimization of accounting processes, as well as project management and support with end-of-month and annual reporting. With her expertise in license management, she was the principal contact for internal and external international partners and was responsible for licensor's share calculations and payouts during her tenure in her previous role.
Julia Fahrnbauer joined NTM in July 2021 from German Producer Ariane Krampe, where she worked for six years as Junior Producer and Executive Assistant.
There, she worked across many scripted productions for German linear television networks. She liaised closely with writers and directors across the development process of films and series, and with executive partners and technical teams during the pre and post-production processes.
Nicolette Jahn joined NTM in January 2022, having completed her Master’s in Media and Communication Management at Macromedia University in Munich. Prior to that, she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Melbourne, Australia in Creative Arts, majoring in Creative and Professional Writing.
During her time in Australia, she interned in marketing at Zebra Productions and in copywriting at Taylor and Grace Branding Agency. She also worked as the Assistant to Primary Leadership at the Bavarian International School in Munich.
Olivia Morgan is a Development Executive between both NTM and BossaNova Media.
She joined in October 2021 from Nent Studios UK (formerly DRG) where she worked as Acquisitions & Sales Coordinator. Whilst at Nent Studios UK, Olivia worked with first-look and third-party producers across both scripted and non-scripted slates. She managed submissions, provided editorial notes, and worked across productions such as The Holiday for Channel 5 and Close to Me for Channel 4.
Previously she worked for Warnermedia in Channel acquisitions, for Studiocanal TV in distribution and as a freelance development researcher.
